Coach Dave is a product manager for Hexagon MI, and has been doing Crossfit since 2012, gaining his level one certifica- tion along the way. He loves gymnastics moves, but is particularly enjoying the olympic lifts for the challenge they pose and the gratification of a lift well-executed while working alongside a group class.

When he’s not training or coaching (or working otherwise) you can catch him in the outdoors around the city, hiking, biking, or running. You might even see him someplace like the ice cream store — he has a wicked sweet tooth for good old cake and ice cream!

He’s also been known to restore old homes in the Church Hill neighborhood as a labor of love — but no loves compare to his two kids (11 and 13) or his girlfriend, member Becky.
