Performance classes are geared toward all members, and will get you a great workout regardless of your fitness level! Every Performance workout is written by Coach Patricia and is made to be able to be scaled up or down depending on individual movement patterns, history, and current abilities. Performance classes are based on functional fitness and high-intensity interval training principles, but unlike our CrossFit classes, they do not include barbell movements in high-intensity workouts, and do not include gymnastics movements either. Barbells are sometimes used in the strength training portion of the day’s workout, though, with appropriate coaching for safety and proper movement.
Coach Patricia is the heart of our Performance classes — she gets to know her members on an individual level, helping them track their progress on fitness, body composition, and nutrition goals as well as sharing advice on healthy habits like adequate rest and stretching. Each Performance member is treated like a personal training client by Coach Patricia, and this results in a family atmosphere in our Performance classes. Cheering each other on is a typical occurrence here!
Performance classes currently take place at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and at 7:15 p.m. on Monday – Thursday. Performance members are also welcome to attend our Saturday general fitness classes and our Sunday Kettlebell and Barbell Club classes.
